Conference Registration Details
Registration for the conference and the conference gala dinner is completed upon payment of the applicable fees.
All registration and payment deadlines are based on Budapest time (Central European Time).
Payment or bank transfer requests can only be made via the webshop link here.
Registration Fees
(Final Registration Payment deadline: 15 May 2026)
Standard Registration Fees
Standard Early Registration Fee (up to 27 March 2026): 255 EUR
Conditions:
- Registration and webshop purchase must be completed by 27 March 2026 (midnight).
- Payment must be received by 13 April 2026.
Standard Registration Fee (after 27 March 2026): 295 EUR
Conditions:
- Registration must be completed by 15 May 2026 (midnight).
- Payment must be received by 1 June 2026.
Discounted Registration Fees
(for Students / Retired / Unwaged participants)
Discounted Early Registration Fee (up to 27 March 2026): 165 EUR
Conditions:
- Registration and webshop purchase must be completed by 27 March 2026 (midnight).
- Payment must be received by 13 April 2026.
- Only PhD students, retired, and unwaged participants, who have provided a document validating their status, are eligible for the discounted fee.
Discounted Registration Fee (after March 27 2026): 195 EUR
Conditions:
- Registration and webshop purchase must be completed by 15 May 2026 (midnight).
- Payment must be received by 1 June 2026.
- Only PhD students, retired, and unemployed participants are eligible for the discounted fee and must be able to provide valid proof of status upon request.
Conference Gala Dinner
Gala Dinner Fee: 70 EUR
The Conference Gala Dinner will be held on Friday evening, July 10 2026.
Conditions:
- The Gala Dinner fee may be paid together with the registration fee or separately.
- Webshop purchases must be completed by 15 May 2026 (midnight).
- Payment must be received by 1 June 2026.
Registration fees include:
- Conference attendance and paper presentations
- Conference package
- Coffee/Tea breaks with refreshments
- Welcome reception on Monday evening
- Poetry Reading by Prof. Sinéad Morrissey on Tuesday evening, 7 July 2026
- Wine reception and music performance on Wednesday evening, 8 July 2026
- Poetry Reading by Stephen De Búrca on Thursday evening, 9 July 2026
- Book launches
- Certificate of participation issued after the conference
- Invoice for the registration fee.
Registration fees do not include:
- Conference Gala Dinner fee (payable separately or with registration fee)
- Danube boat trip on the day after the conference, Saturday, 11 July 2026

Payment, Refund, Cancellation and No-Show Policies
Payment Policy
By registering you fully accept all registration conditions as further detailed:
- All fees are quoted in Euro (€) and include the currently applicable 27% Hungarian VAT.
- Invoices can only be supplied if the conference delegate provides either a VAT or an ID Number. The invoicing address and VAT/ID number are to be provided during the payment process.
- Early registration fees are valid only if registration is completed by 27 March 2026 and payment is received by 13 April 2026.
- Registrations for which payment is not received by the registration deadline will be cancelled.
Entry to the IASIL Budapest 2026 conference is only permitted for registered delegates who have paid their registration fee.
Refund and Cancellation Policy concerning the IASIL Budapest 2026 Conference Registration fees and the Conference Gala Dinner
- If you need to cancel your registration and/or conference dinner, please contact the organizers at iasilbudapest@gmail.com
- Cancellations received by 31 May 2026 are fully refundable.
- Cancellations received after 1 June 2026 are not refundable.
- Transferring your registration to another person is not permitted.
- Any refunds can only be processed after the IASIL Budapest 2026 conference has concluded.
- All bank charges on refunds are borne by the delegate who has cancelled their registration.
No-show Policy
- Refunds of registration fees will not be granted for delegates who do not attend the conference and who do not make a prior notice of cancellation that the conference organizers receive before 1 June 2026).
Payment process
- Conference dinner and registration fees can only be paid by card or, if card payment is not possible, by bank transfer.
- Payment or bank transfer requests can only be made via the webshop.
- When paying in the webshop, the delegate’s name must always be entered in the "Full name" field under personal details.
- Process of paying by bank transfer (only for institutions or companies):
- In the webshop, select the following payment method: Bank transfer (for companies only).
- On the next page, under Billing Address, check the box, then enter your company details and provide the necessary information.
- You will receive a pro forma invoice at the email address provided in the webshop, containing all the details required for the bank transfer.
- Please ensure that the participant's name and invoice ID number are included in the transfer details.
- The invoice will be sent to the email address provided by the participant in the webshop after payment is received.
